It's winter but SPRING is right around the corner! Soon it will be time to clean out flowerbeds, prepare our gardens & cut grass. The flowers will be blooming & the birds will be singing.
Daylight Savings is right around the corner (March 10) and this is a good time to do a little Smoke Alarm maintenance. Remember when changing your clocks be sure to pick up some batteries for your smoke alarms & change them. While changing your batteries check the smoke alarm for any damage & clean the dust out of it. Also look for an expiration date in the battery compartment. ALL SMOKE ALARMS should be changed out completely if they are 10 YEARS or OLDER

Also, remember winter isn't over yet & the snow can still show up. So whether driving on the highway or backroads make sure you pack a survival kit from your vehicle. And when you arrive to your festive destination be sure that you know 2 WAYS OUT in the case of an emegency.
